You would probably need a hotel before your Cruise, unless you live really close to the port … or want to risk missing your ship. Yes … anything could happen between you and your ship. Better be there early to prevent unexpected situations like traffic, a flat tire, no parking, delayed or canceled flight, etc.

These are 3 recommended Hotels for Cruises sailing from Miami, Seattle and Barcelona. Plus one Hotel in Madrid, in case you want to discover more of Spain. I’ve visited all of them.

When you visit the Ramada Miami Springs, you will notice that almost all guests are Cruisers. Because they recognize all the benefits of staying here. I have been there about 5 times when taking Caribbean Cruises. Click Here to see Hotel details.

The Belltown Seattle is another favorite hotel for Cruisers heading to Alaska. Is close to the ports and attractions. Not too cheap, not too expensive. Just enough to sleep comfortably for a couple of nights before your ship’s departure. Click Here to see Hotel details.

This is another gem. Teatre Auditori is located in a quiet area, a few blocks away from Sagrada Familia. There’s a red bus stop close by, which is great for visiting all major attractions in Barcelona before your Cruise. I chose the other way around … Stayed there 4 nights after my NCL Mediterranean 9 day Cruise. Click Here to see Hotel details.

In case you want to visit Madrid, there is another Hotel I can recommend (stayed there 3 nights before heading for Barcelona). Is called: Hotel II Castillas. Located 2 blocks away from La Gran Via, El Corte Inglés and a few blocks away from Fuente de Cibeles. Click Here to see all details
