When it comes to Cruises, planning can take hours if you are not ‘married’ to a Cruise Line, because there are many possibilities.
That’s why searching with Expedia can save you a lot of time !
Besides Flights, Stays, Car Rental, etc. Expedia has filters for everything. If you choose ‘Cruises’ from the menu, you can filter by Cruise Line, by Ship, Port of call, Port stops, Prices lower to higher, etc. Here’s an example List of Cruises, filtered by ‘newer ships’ sailing to dream destinations: See Details (just go there and modify all filters to match your specific needs).
So … is much easier to explore options when you have that power, instead of asking a travel agent to do it for you, because they will give you only a few options.
I prefer to take a look for myself. After all, I am the only one who knows which exact dates are better for me, which type of ship I prefer (old or new) (with 8000 souls onboard or 3000) (crowded with kids or adults only) which airline or flight will take me there with less problems.
All these factors can be taken into account in your favor, when you search for yourself.
